Between Ocho Rios and Montego Bay is Runaway Bay, home to Sharkie’s Seafood Restaurant. We ended up here via recommendation of our driver. Our only requirement was he choose a place he would eat at with his family. We didn’t want a touristy place. We wanted true Jamaican food.

Sharkie’s did not disappoint. Everything was full of flavor. From the curried shrimp to the fried platter and the brown stew fish, we ate everything.

The driver chose well, :-).
